Haviva Malina, MD

Co-Founder & Medical Director

Dr. Haviva Malina is a licensed emergency medicine physician with more than 15 years of experience caring for patients in high-acuity settings. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude, from Barnard College of Columbia University, receiving departmental honors in Psychology and earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the Jacobi/Montefiore program. Dr. Malina became a proponent of ketamine therapy after seeing its rapid and meaningful impact on patients with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood disorders—particularly during the mental-health crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic. At Keta Medical Center, she leads with a focus on patient safety, compassionate care, and improving access to evidence-based treatments including Spravato®.
Cheryl Malina, MD

Dr. Cheryl Malina, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, is the co-founder of Keta Medical Center. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Malina has practiced extensively in hospitals across the Bronx and Westchester. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College at Columbia University and earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completing her residency at the Jacobi/Montefiore Emergency Medicine Program. Dr. Malina later moved to attending physician roles at several hospitals, most recently as an attending physician at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York. Dr. Malina’s interest in ketamine therapy was sparked during the COVID-19 pandemic, as she observed a surge in acute psychiatric cases. Impressed by the rapid, positive changes ketamine brought about in patients she became a strong advocate for its use in treating conditions like depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

Yonit Malina has over 25 years of experience providing therapy across clinical, school-based, university, and private practice settings. Yonit currently serves as the Clinical Director of Psychotherapy at Keta Medical Center, where she oversees the therapy team and provides ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) to patients. Her therapeutic approach is strengths-based, empowering individuals to overcome life’s challenges and heal from trauma. Yonit draws on a range of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, internal family systems and cognitive behavioral therapy, to tailor treatment to each patient’s unique needs. Yonit’s clinical interests include mood disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, and family dynamics.
Ariel Heller, DO

Clinical Director of Psychiatry

Dr. Ariel Heller is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over seven years of experience providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. She has worked in a variety of hospital settings, giving her broad clinical insight across the spectrum of psychiatric care. Dr. Heller brings a collaborative and patient-centered approach to her work. She specializes in treating adults from young adulthood through the geriatric years, with a strong emphasis on building therapeutic relationships and working alongside her patients to help them achieve their mental health goals.

Psychiatric Administrative Assistant

Salina Xu is a medical office assistant at Keta Medical Center with experience in primary care, cardiology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, and optometry. She previously worked as a medical scribe and office coordinator, bringing a strong background in patient care and office management. Angela Amoia is a New York Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist with over 25 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in supporting clients navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, and relational challenges. She has a deep commitment to LGBTQ+ mental health and brings over 25 years of experience working with the LGBTQ+ community. Angela has completed a rigorous, internationally based three-year training program in psychedelic-assisted therapy. She works closely with clients to provide thorough preparation and thoughtful integration, helping them make meaning of their experiences and translate insights into lasting change. Angela’s approach is rooted in clinical expertise, relational attunement, and a deep respect for each client’s unique healing process. Her goal is to help clients access new perspectives, build resilience, and move toward meaningful, sustainable transformation.

Dr. Marra is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over two decades of experience in acute care. After earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000, Dr. Marra completed an emergency medicine residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2004. Since becoming board certified in 2005, he has dedicated his career to providing compassionate, evidence-based emergency care while pursuing a special interest in substance abuse and addiction treatment. His work bridges the gap between emergency medicine and long-term recovery, helping patients access critical resources and support during times of crisis. Haviva Malina, MD

Co-Founder & Medical Director

Dr. Haviva Malina is a licensed emergency medicine physician with more than 15 years of experience caring for patients in high-acuity settings. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude, from Barnard College of Columbia University, receiving departmental honors in Psychology and earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the Jacobi/Montefiore program. Dr. Malina became a proponent of ketamine therapy after seeing its rapid and meaningful impact on patients with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood disorders—particularly during the mental-health crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic. At Keta Medical Center, she leads with a focus on patient safety, compassionate care, and improving access to evidence-based treatments including Spravato®.
Cheryl Malina, MD

Co-Founder & Medical Director

Dr. Cheryl Malina, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, is the co-founder of Keta Medical Center. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Malina has practiced extensively in hospitals across the Bronx and Westchester. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College at Columbia University and earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completing her residency at the Jacobi/Montefiore Emergency Medicine Program. Dr. Malina later moved to attending physician roles at several hospitals, most recently as an attending physician at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York. Dr. Malina’s interest in ketamine therapy was sparked during the COVID-19 pandemic, as she observed a surge in acute psychiatric cases. Impressed by the rapid, positive changes ketamine brought about in patients she became a strong advocate for its use in treating conditions like depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
Moshe Malina

Moshe Malina is the CEO of Keta Medical Center. Prior to joining Keta, he spent more than 20 years at Citi in senior leadership roles across technology and legal departments. Most recently, he led a global team responsible for major technology transformations and remediation initiatives. Earlier in his tenure, Moshe served in Citi’s legal department, where he managed teams overseeing patents, mergers and acquisitions, venture investments, and complex tech transactions, and served as general counsel of Citi Ventures, the firm’s corporate venture arm. He began his career as an attorney at Cleary Gottlieb. He holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Columbia Engineering.
Rachel Olstein Kaplan

As COO, Rachel Olstein Kaplan leads operations and growth strategy for Keta Medical Center. She is passionate about ensuring that more people have access to high-quality, compassionate and effective mental health care. Rachel previously founded and ran Aurora Marketing, and spent seven years at Wix.com. She has served as vice president of marketing at StuffThatWorks, a startup using AI-powered crowdsourcing to help patients identify effective treatments for their conditions, and consulted for KHealth, where she helped build their digital library of healthcare resources. Rachel brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and marketing.

Yoni Bak

Director of Business Operations & Technology

Yoni Bak has over 25 years of construction management experience and a background in civil engineering. He will be overseeing the expansion of the practice into new markets in Long Island, Westfield, NJ and NYC. Yoni is committed to making sure all new offices provide the same warm and pleasant environment our patients have come to expect from Keta Medical Center. Yoni will also be coordinating the implementation of management technology to streamline business operations. Yoni lives in NJ with his wife, 4 children and Bichon-Poodle.

Jessica Yankus is a marketing and provider engagement leader at Keta Medical Center, bringing over 15 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, and neuroscience. Her work has focused on expanding patient access and driving provider adoption across innovative mental health treatments, including SPRAVATO and ketamine-assisted therapy programs. Jessica specializes in building referral networks, developing outreach strategies, and translating complex clinical concepts into meaningful, provider-facing engagement. She is particularly passionate about improving access to care for patients who are not responding to traditional treatment and helping clinicians integrate new tools into their practice. She holds a Master’s of Public Health from Boston University and is currently pursuing a License in Mental Health Counseling.
