“I’m currently at the Oradell location and I wanted to comment on how great the staff is, in particular the team that’s here tonight. Having the right people for a session makes a huge difference in my comfort level and ability to relax. This group is professional but approachable. Kind but not overbearing. On top of things. They project confidence and care. Good people helping vulnerable people find their way.”

Raymond M.

“Literally without any doubt. The clinic saved my life. This is real.”

FAQs

Is it possible to receive treatment at more than one Keta Medical Center location?

Yes. Many patients settle on a primary clinic but visit other Keta Medical Center locations when it better suits their schedule or commute. Our care team keeps your treatment plan coordinated no matter which office you visit.

How accessible is the Garden City clinic by public transportation?

Our Garden City office is about a 10-minute walk from the LIRR Garden City station, and the NICE N40 and N40X bus lines stop just a few minutes away, making the clinic easy to reach without a car.

Is parking available at the Garden City location?

Street parking and nearby lots are available around our Garden City office for patients who prefer to drive. That said, since you shouldn’t drive yourself home after a ketamine therapy session, we recommend arranging a ride or having someone pick you up if you do drive in, or taking advantage of the LIRR or NICE bus routes serving the area.

Can I book appointments outside of standard business hours at this location?

Yes. We’re open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., giving patients evening and weekend options alongside daytime hours. Reach out to us directly, and we’ll help find a time that works.

What time should I show up for my first visit?

Plan to walk in about 15 minutes before your appointment start time so there’s room for check-in and any paperwork. If you happen to run late, give us a call, and our team will do their best to keep things on track.

What should I do before coming in for a ketamine therapy session?

We recommend you get a good night’s sleep and drink plenty of water in the day or two before your visit, and lean toward light, healthy meals rather than anything heavy. We ask patients to skip alcohol, marijuana, and anything emotionally intense (movies, news, etc.) for a full 24 hours beforehand, and to hold off on eating for the hour right before your session. Loose, comfortable clothing is also recommended for full comfort. Some patients also find that quiet reflection, journaling, or meditation beforehand helps them feel more centered going in.

Who oversees my care at the Garden City office?

A member of our medical staff is present for and directly oversees every treatment session at this location, backed by an administrative staff that manages the logistics, including scheduling, insurance verification, and general day-to-day coordination. The clinical team here brings experience from emergency medicine and internal medicine backgrounds.
