Why switch?

Why patients transfer to Keta Medical Center

Convenience across nine locations

With nine clinics across New York and New Jersey, you can switch between locations to fit your schedule. Our team keeps your treatment plan consistent no matter which clinic you visit.

Evening and weekend hours

We are open seven days a week, 9 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.–8 p.m. on weekends. Our hours are built around real patient availability.

Physician-led, board-certified care

Founded by two board-certified emergency medicine physicians, Keta Medical Center has an ER physician and nurse overseeing every treatment session, backed by safety-first, evidence-based protocols.

Coordination of care

Beyond scheduling and support, our physicians coordinate care with your current providers. We also offer in-house psychiatry and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), in-person or over Zoom.

Private, comfortable treatment rooms

Each session takes place in a private, calming treatment room. You'll rest in a comfortable recliner with amenities like personal blankets, journals, eye masks, and headphones for music, while our on-site physicians and nurses provide support and clinical oversight from start to finish.

Dedicated patient liaisons

Every patient has access to a patient liaison who's there to make sure your experience is a positive one. Your liaison can answer questions, walk you through what to expect and support you at each stage of treatment.

FAQs

Common questions transfer patients ask

Not necessarily. When you transfer to Keta Medical Center, our physicians review your medical and treatment history. If you’re receiving Spravato, we’ll take care of the insurance paperwork — so you can focus on healing.

In most cases, yes. Keta Medical Center offers Spravato and ketamine infusions, so most patients can continue the same type of treatment they started elsewhere. Our physicians review your medical history and current plan to confirm it’s still the right fit and adjust your care if needed.

To get started, we’ll need your insurance card (front and back), date of birth, the name of the clinic or provider you’re transferring from and, if you’ve received ketamine infusions in the past year, your dosing record. Treatment notes and a current medication list are also helpful so our physicians can review your full history and continue your care safely.

We fast-track transfer patients to help you avoid a long gap in treatment. Your start date depends on how quickly we receive your records and, for Spravato, complete insurance verification, but with nine locations and evening and weekend hours, we can usually find an appointment that fits your schedule rather quickly.

It’s possible. Our physicians will review your diagnosis, clinical history and insurance coverage to determine whether Spravato is the right next step for you.

Yes, if it’s clinically appropriate for you. Our physicians will review your medical history and treatment needs to determine whether IV ketamine is a good fit. Keep in mind that IV ketamine isn’t covered by insurance, but we offer financing through CareCredit and accept FSA and HSA cards.

We only contact your current clinic if we need your previous dosing records and you’ve provided written consent. Our team will coordinate directly with your current or previous center so you don’t have to track down paperwork yourself. If you prefer, you can obtain your own dosing records directly from your previous clinic.

Yes. Keta Medical Center coordinates care closely with your existing mental health providers so your care stays integrated throughout treatment. If you don’t have a therapist or psychiatrist, we can also connect you with our in-house team.

It depends on your diagnosis, insurance plan and the treatment type. Spravato is FDA-approved for treatment-resistant depression and is covered by most commercial insurance plans and Medicare. IV ketamine is self-pay and costs $500 per infusion. We offer flexible financing through CareCredit and accept FSA and HSA plans. Our team will verify your coverage and walk you through your costs before you begin.
