“I’m currently at the Oradell location and I wanted to comment on how great the staff is, in particular the team that’s here tonight. Having the right people for a session makes a huge difference in my comfort level and ability to relax. This group is professional but approachable. Kind but not overbearing. On top of things. They project confidence and care. Good people helping vulnerable people find their way.”

FAQs

Can I switch between locations during treatment?

Yes. Many patients choose a primary clinic but visit other Keta Medical Center locations when scheduling or commuting makes it more convenient. Our team coordinates your care across locations so your treatment plan stays consistent.

Is the 86th Street clinic accessible by public transit?

Yes. Our 86th Street location is close to the 86th St station on Broadway, served by the 1 train, and the 86th St station on Central Park West, served by the B and C trains. Multiple bus lines also serve the area, so you can reach us easily without a car.

Do you offer evening and weekend appointments at the 86th Street location?

Yes. We’re open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., so you can find a time that works around your schedule. Appointment availability may vary: reach out, and we’ll help you find a time that fits.

How early should I arrive for my appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first visit. If you’re running late, give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

How should I prepare for my ketamine therapy session?

We recommend getting plenty of rest the night before and staying well hydrated. Try to eat clean, nourishing foods in the day leading up to your appointment and avoid alcohol, marijuana, and intense or violent media for 24 hours before treatment. Please don’t eat for one hour before your session and wear comfortable clothing so you can relax fully. Many patients also find that meditation, light journaling, or quiet reflection beforehand helps them feel centered.

Who will I see for my treatment at the 86th Street location?

Every session at our 86th Street location is overseen by a member of our medical team and supported by a dedicated administrative team that helps coordinate scheduling, insurance, and day-to-day care. Our clinical team includes physicians with backgrounds in emergency and internal medicine.

There are two Upper West Side Keta locations - how do I know which one to choose?

Keta Medical Center has two Upper West Side clinics, at 86th Street and 96th Street, so you can choose whichever is more convenient based on your commute or schedule. Our team can help coordinate your care at either location, and many patients switch between the two as needed.
