Brittany Cook, LCSW
Biography
Brittany Cook, LCSW is a New York Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate complex mental health challenges and create meaningful change in their lives.
Brittany’s work is grounded in trauma-informed, client-centered care and shaped by extensive experience treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use and addiction, eating disorders, personality disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of individual needs and lived experiences, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, and LGBTQ+ affirming care.
Brittany has been providing Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy for over a year and completed experiential training with Phil Wolfson, MD, a pioneer in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Her work encompasses the full therapeutic process surrounding ketamine treatment, including preparation, intention setting, therapeutic support, and integration. She helps clients approach their experiences with curiosity, explore emerging emotions and patterns, and translate insights into meaningful changes in their relationships, behaviors, and everyday lives.
Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. Brittany draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches to meet each client where they are and help them move beyond surviving toward thriving. She believes that while ketamine can open the door to healing, lasting transformation occurs through the therapeutic process of making meaning from the experience and integrating those insights into everyday life.
