Ketan Patel, M.D.
Biography
Dr. Ketan Patel is a board-certified emergency physician with over 20 years of experience providing care in the emergency department. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine, followed by completion of an emergency medicine residency and an academic/administrative fellowship at the Stanford-Kaiser Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
In 2008, Dr. Patel relocated to New York City, where he has since provided care across multiple emergency departments throughout the city. In December 2025, he joined Keta Medical Center, where he has been deeply impressed by the transformative impact ketamine therapy has had on his patients’ lives.
